WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS IN Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind?
Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind contains a mixture of natural ingredients carefully selected for colic relief. The three active ingredients are Matricaria chamomilla (Chamomile), Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) and Dill Seed Oil. You can find the full list of ingredients (active and inactive) here.
HOW DOES Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind WORK?
The three active ingredients in Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind; Matricaria chamomilla (Chamomile), Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) and Dill Seed Oil; are known to have been traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for colic relief (wind/gas pain), to reduce the symptoms of infant colic, relieve the symptoms of indigestion and dyspepsia and relieve disturbed/restless sleep.
Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind can be taken at the recommended dosage with feeds up to six times daily. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
HOW LONG CAN Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind BE ADMINISTERED FOR?
You can continue using Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind at the recommended dosage as long as you feel it is bringing colic relief. If symptoms persist or if your child experiences any side effects, you should discontinue use and seek advice from your health practitioner.

Yes, Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind is gentle enough to use from day one. Please refer to the dosage instructions on the label for newborns.
HOW DO I ADMINISTER Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind?
Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind can either be added to the bottle or dropped directly into the mouth. Each box comes with a plastic syringe to help measure the correct dosage.

Yes, Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind can be mixed with water, juice, milk or formula. Please ensure the mixture is administered immediately after preparation.
Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind does not need to be refrigerated after opening. The product should be stored below 30°C. Remember to shake the bottle well before use.
After opening, you can continue using Infants’ Friend Colic & Wind up until the expiry date – provided the bottle has been stored below 30°C. Remember to shake the bottle well before use.

No, Infants’ Friend does not contain chloroform. The old formula of Infants’ Friend underwent a recall in 2020 due to a small presence of chloroform as an excipient (inactive ingredient). The affected product has not been manufactured or available for sale since the recall in 2020. Infants’ Friend has since been reformulated and listed with the TGA (AUST L 367810).
