HOW DOES INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID WORK?

The three active ingredients in Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid; Matricaria chamomilla (Chamomile), Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) and Dill Seed Oil; are known to have been traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to relieve colic (wind/gas pain), reduce the symptoms of infant colic, relieve the symptoms of indigestion and dyspepsia and relieve disturbed/restless sleep.

HOW OFTEN CAN EACH DOSE BE GIVEN?

Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid can be taken at the recommended dosage with feeds up to six times daily. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

HOW LONG CAN INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID BE ADMINISTERED FOR?

You can continue using Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid at the recommended dosage as long as you feel it is bringing relief. If symptoms persist or if your child experiences any side effects, you should discontinue use and seek advice from your health practitioner.

CAN I GIVE INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID TO MY NEWBORN?

Yes, Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid is gentle enough to use from day one. Please refer to the dosage instructions on the label for newborns.

HOW DO I ADMINISTER INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID?

Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid can either be added to the bottle or dropped directly onto the tongue. Each box comes with a plastic syringe to help measure the correct dosage.

DOES INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID CONTAIN ALCOHOL?

No, Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid does not contain any alcohol.

DOES INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID CONTAIN SUGAR?

No, Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid does not contain any sugar or artificial sweeteners.

IF INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID IS ADDED TO THE BOTTLE – CAN ANY UNUSED BOTTLE MIXTURE BE KEPT IN THE FRIDGE AND MICROWAVED LATER?

No, the bottle should not be reheated. Microwaves do not heat food/liquids evenly which could lessen the effectiveness of the mixture.

CAN INFANTS’ FRIEND ORAL LIQUID BE ADMINISTERED WITH WATER OR JUICE, INSTEAD OF MILK OR FORMULA?

Yes, Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid can be mixed with water, juice, milk or formula. Please ensure the mixture is administered immediately after preparation.

DOES THE BOTTLE NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED AFTER OPENING?

Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid does not need to be refrigerated after opening. The product should be stored below 30°C. Remember to shake the bottle well before use.

HOW LONG AFTER OPENING THE BOTTLE CAN I CONTINUE USING INFANTS’ FRIEND?

After opening, you can continue using Infants’ Friend Oral Liquid up until the expiry date – provided the bottle has been stored below 30°C. Remember to shake the bottle well before use.

IS INFANTS’ FRIEND AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA?

Infants’ Friend is currently only available through Australian pharmacies. There are some e-pharmacies that will ship to countries other than Australia.
